A hatch of hens on a do...
Another type of celebration... to prepare Bronwyn, the bride to be. I was so excited when she rang me to tell about Alex's proposal and now the big day is only a few weeks away. We shoved her right out of her comfort zone into a bellydancing class followed by a HUGE Lebanese feast and then....a few drinks too. I think we'll mostly remember the dare to pinch a garcon's bottom, a naughty bell and the anti-fart pride discussion...
GO GO GO
My housemate Joey and our friends, entered the Oxford Town and Gown 10km fun run. I know how much work Joey did to complete the course and I'm so proud of her. The F team are now training for a half marathon, even though they insisted they wouldn't go that far.... there will be more photos to follow this up.
SMILES ARE MY INSPIRATION
This is a collage I made a little while ago to remind me, of all the photos I've taken so far, which I am most proud of, because they capture the joy radiating from each person through my lens. I did it also to remind me that I need to keep photographing so I can keep adding to this collage of memories.... as nearly everyone person who then saw the picture of themeselves, said, 'awww I look really good'.... deeeeer!
The arrival whilst I was away...
These are my lovely friends Kate and Justyn, who have a son with a name long enough to rival a royal: Benjamin Duncan Jared McPhedran Lane. He was born as I flew out of the UK to go to home to Australia. He's such a sweet button to get to know! Now I just need to the full family shot to complete the set, when mum, dad and babe are in the same country as me, which so far hasn't happened yet.... so I could just be in for a trip to Tanzania.
